From the experiences we have gained through travel, sports and exploration, our journey has led us to design, develop and produce what we believe will be the best, simplified footwear we have ever owned.

Gumbies flip-flops adapt to the contours and arch of the foot, and most importantly - they provide comfort between the toes. Created using the most practical, natural and recycled environmentally friendly materials.

Age is not a problem. Just like best buddies, these flip-flops become friendlier over time. Gumbies Islander are flip-flops that will provide you with a timeless style. They are fashionable, functional, colorful and something completely new.

Sole:

• Recycled rubber and jute
• Two layers of EVA foam
• Anatomical insole

External part:

• Canvas and 100% cotton
• Cotton strip that does not rub between the fingers

GUMTREAD™ -We chose recycled rubber as the base material for our innovative soles with a dual goal: flexibility and durability. Recycled rubber offers a tire-like tread that provides traction to keep you on your adventure, whether you're walking through the yard in slippers or conquering the world in flip-flops.

WE PROTECT THE FORESTS -  For every purchase of Gumbies flip-flops, a mangrove tree is planted in Mozambique, Magadascar or Kenya. Mangrove trees particularly enhance the environment because they store 4 times more carbon than other trees.

RECYCLED TEXTILES -Our selection of canvas strips made from recycled cotton fibers reduces the need for over-growing cotton, which can be inefficient in terms of water use.
